I am a unaltered male & I look like a Domestic Shorthair

Hi, I'm Smiley! I'm a super affectionate and playful little kitty, named for the smiley face pattern on the top of my head. I love to meow (especially when I want something) and purr loudly and frequently. I'm a little on edge in new situations and can be easily startled, but I have gotten so much braver already. I'm also getting better at playing independently with my toys (or really anything else I can use as a toy), but I still prefer to have as much human attention as I can get. My favorite place to sleep is in a lap (although I also knows how to burrow under my blanket to get extra cozy for naps when left alone, which is very cute too.) Am I the purrfect one for you?
